DANIEL 4

 I GOD WILL PURSUE YOU.

I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3

Do you despise the riches of his kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? Romans 2:4

II GOD IS PATIENT.

I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. 4 They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? II Peter 3

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. Vs 9

Remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. Vs 15

III. GOD WILL DEAL WITH OUR PRIDE.

The king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30he said, “Is not this the great Babylon have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”

In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.Psalm 10:4

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” James 4:6

I GOD IS A GOD OF RESTORATION.

34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.

36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

9 Amaziah asked the man of God, “But what about the hundred talents I paid for these Israelite troops?” The man of God replied, “The Lord can give you much more than that.” II Chron 25:5

Psalm 51:12 says "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit."

After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10

I will restore to you the years. Marriages, relationships, children, business. Joel 2:25

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal. Jeremiah 30:17

Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double. Zechariah 9:12
