I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.("Do not be worried and upset,")  You believe in God ^a ; believe also in me. 2My Father’s house has many rooms; (mansions) if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going.”5Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  7If you really know me, you will know ^b my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”8Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”9Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.  How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you (the way) which path to take.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, 26and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.Acts 11:25

Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way,whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Acts 9:1

I persecuted the followers of the Wayto their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison, Acts 22:4

However, I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way,which they call a sect. I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets, 15and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. Acts 24:14

III. I am the Truth

And you will know the truth,and the truth will set you free. John 8:32

Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.John 17:17

The law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1

The reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” John 18

1. I am the Life.

RememberAs for you, you were deadin your transgressions and sins,…4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ…Eph 2

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal lifeand will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.  25Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. John 5

“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice29and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. John 5

There will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. Acts 24:14

It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, Hebrews 9:27
