Our statement of faith
- We believe that there is one eternal God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the virgin birth, the death, resurrection and imminent return of Jesus Christ, and the work and person of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the personal necessity of every person to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (salvation through faith).
- We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the church, including the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the gifts and fruit of the Spirit.
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word of God, both for faith and practice.
- We believe in a commitment to regular fellowship in a local church in order to draw strength from the body of Christ as well as to support and encourage others.
- We believe in a program of personal Bible study and prayer, drawing from God's Word (the Holy Bible) as the supreme authority for life.
- We believe that self-worth is experienced by recognizing who we are in Christ. We believe in the development of responsibility and Christ-like behavior based upon scriptural principles.
- We believe that the central purpose of mankind is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever in intimate relationship.
- We believe in the priesthood of every believer and the responsibility that follows from this belief.
- We believe in and practice baptism by full immersion as a public testimony of salvation.
- We believe that we are accountable to God and to one another for our growth and development as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that we should regularly evaluate ourselves and seek an accountability partner with whom to meet regularly.
- We believe in the Biblical mandate that marriage is between one man and one woman as a covenant with God.
