ISRAEL

 

God called a man by the name of Abram or Abraham from Iran to Israel.

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. 2“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:1-3 NIV

God promised to give Abraham the Land. 

Jesus was born in Israel.

Jesus was crucified in Israel.

Jesus was resurrected in Israel.

Jesus is coming back to Israel.

 

1. Who is Hamas?

 Hamas is a terrorist organization made-up of Sunni Muslims.

2. Why is Hamas so intent on destroying Israel and the Jewish people?

 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 NLT

 3. What is the history of the Palestinians and the land of Israel?

So the LORD made a covenant with Abram that day and said, “I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypta to the great Euphrates River— 19the land now occupied by the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites.” Genesis 15:17-20 NLT

For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.  Ezekiel 36:24 NIV

4. Why are so many American and young adults supporting the Palestinian cause?

Some of the people in the meeting were shouting one thing, and others were shouting something else. Everyone was completely confused, and most of them did not even know why they were there. Acts 19:32 CEV

5. Does the current events fit into Bible prophecy about the end times?

This is another message that came to me from the LORD: 2“Son of man, turn and face Gog of the land of Magog, the prince who rules over the nations of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him. 3Give him this message from the Sovereign LORD: Gog, I am your enemy! 4I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaws to lead you out with your whole army—your horses and charioteers in full armor and a great horde armed with shields and swords. 5Persia, Ethiopia, and Libyaa will join you, too, with all their weapons. 6Gomer and all its armies will also join you, along with the armies of Beth-togarmah from the distant north, and many others.

7“Get ready; be prepared! Keep all the armies around you mobilized, and take command of them. 8A long time from now you will be called into action. In the distant future you will swoop down on the land of Israel, which will be enjoying peace after recovering from war and after its people have returned from many lands to the mountains of Israel. 9You and all your allies—a vast and awesome army—will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land like a cloud. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. Ezekiel 38:10 NIV

 6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  Matthew 24:6-7 NIV

 

PRAY FOR ISRAEL

 1. Soldiers, Commanders, First Responders: prayer for bravery, protection, success in their mission.

 2. Pray for peace even in the midst of storm: peace for parents, children and communities.

 3. Pray for our leaders to be humble and strong, guided by the fear of God.

 4. We are intending to reach more units in North and South - pray for protection, and successful outreach.

 5. Raise a voice and speak out/advocate against anti-Semitic lies and false propagandas.

 6. Pray for this coming week as units are going into Gaza - some of whom are our families and friends. No casualties!

 7. Pray for Salvation in our nation - may people turn towards God in their desperate need.

 8. Children have witnessed such traumas. Please pray for their hearts, that Yeshua may console them and strengthen them. 

 9. Wisdom for Parents, that they might know how to comfort and encourage their children.

 10. For church to rise up - to speak up, to call out evil and to show support.

 11. Mercy and revelation for the Palestinian people caught in the lies of the Enemy and the evil deception of their leaders.

 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

 “May those who love you be secure. 7May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” 8For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” 9For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity. Psalm 122
