REPENT

Daniel 9:1–11 NIV

10This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. b I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jeremiah 29:10–14 NIV

You surely don't think much of God's wonderful goodness or of his patience and willingness to put up with you. Don't you know that the reason God is good to you is because he wants you to turn to him?  Romans 2: 4 CEV

Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? Romans 2: 4 BSB

There is a way that appears to be right to man but it’s ends is the way of death. Proverbs 14: 12 ESV

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, Isaiah 59: 2 NIV

Your iniquities have turned these away, and your sins have kept good from you.
 Jeremiah 5: 25 NIV

Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Isaiah 55:7 NIV

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Matthew 4:17 NIV

In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea 2and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Matthew 3:1 NIV

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;b his mercies never come to an end; 23they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV

 I. His Love

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving devotion. Jeremiah 31:3 NIV

8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NIV

 II. His Mercy

The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.

Psalm 145:8-9 ESV

Have mercy on me,a O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. 2Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! Psalm 51: 1-2 ESV

 III. His Faithfulness

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9 NIV

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. II Thessalonians 3:3 NIV

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. I Corinthians 10:13 NIV
